Oversized blossoms

I don't recall seeing such gigantic hibiscus blooms before, but this year they seem to be on almost every street corner. This one was easily larger than the span of my hand. And with the sunlight shining through its diaphanous petals, it looked that much more beautiful. Definitely a bloom to explore for a future JAKE & META drawing...
